Ingredients:
- 1 cup honey (Try our Buckwheat Raw Honey)
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 1/4 cup raw sesame seeds
- Pinch of salt
Directions:
Bring honey, sugar, and salt to a boil over low heat, stirring occasionally. Add sesame seeds and stir. Keep over heat until a candy thermometer reads 300 degrees.*
Pour mixture out onto a silpat or parchment paper lined pan and even/smooth. When partially cooled, cut with a sharp knife or pizza cutter. Let cool completely and break pieces apart.
*if you don't have a candy thermometer, you can test the mixture in a cup of very cold water. Drop a bit in and it should crack when you try to break it. If it is tacky or chewy, heat longer and test again.
