Building out a physical space takes resources. Your contribution will go toward the following:

• Renovation and improvements of the storefront retail space.
• Purchase of inventory, display fixtures, and point-of-sale systems.
• Cover initial operating expenses until the business becomes self-sustaining.
• Development and implementation of initial marketing to promote the store.
• Procurement of supplies and equipment for classes and workshops.

Bee Membership: This level offers a range of exclusive benefits, including a tote bag, recognition on the Founders Wall, early access to new products and promotions, a monthly store credit, and free hive tours and classes. It's perfect for anyone who loves honey and beekeeping and wants to support a growing business in the industry.

By joining our Founders Club, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Membership Eligibility

To be eligible for the Founders Club, you must be 18 years or older and have made a contribution of at least $1,000, $2,500, or $5,000 depending on the level of membership you choose.

Membership Benefits

As a Founders Club member, you are entitled to the benefits listed on our Founders Club membership page. Benefits are subject to change and may be added or removed at any time, without notice.

Store Credit

As a Founders Club member, you will receive a monthly store credit, as indicated on our membership page. Store credit becomes available on the first of each month and expires on the last day of each month. Store credits cannot be redeemed for cash and can only be used towards the purchase of retail products and services in our store. Store credit will begin on the 1st of the month following your sign up date, and will continue for five years. Unused store credits will expire at the end of each month and will not carry over to the following month. Store credit will apply to the sale price and any applicable taxes or fees associated with the purchase. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the store credit program at any time, without prior notice.

Hive Tours and Classes

Founders Club members are entitled to a certain number of free hive tours and classes per year, as indicated on our membership page. Tours and classes are subject to availability and must be booked in advance. All tickets must be used during the calendar year they are available and will expire at the end of the current hive tour season(May-September). Tickets for classes will cover a maximum ticket price of $50 per ticket. Any classes, workshops, or other events exceeding $50 will require payment for the difference. Store credit may be used for the difference if available.

Discounts

Founders Club members are entitled to a certain discount on retail products and services, as indicated on our membership page. The lifetime discount of 10% on retail products and services begins after the first five years of membership and only applies to Colony and Queen Members. Discounts may not be "stacked" or added to sale prices. There may be occasions where a sale discount exceeds the regular discount, so the higher of the two discounts will be applied. If any discount(s) result in a negative amount, members are not entitled to a reimbursement for that amount.

Returns

The potential returns/values listed on our membership page are not guaranteed and may vary depending on the performance of our business. We cannot guarantee any specific returns to our Founders Club members.

Membership Cancellation

Memberships may be cancelled at any time by the member or by us, for any reason. If a membership is cancelled, no refunds will be given for the contribution amount.

Ownership

Making a contribution to our Founders Club does not entitle the member to any form of ownership of the business. Members will have no vested interest in the business, and their contributions do not grant them any rights or control over our business operations. The contributions made by members are considered as donations towards our business development and are non-refundable.

Membership Non-Transferability

Membership in the Founders Club is non-transferable. Memberships may not be sold, transferred, or assigned to another person or entity. Any attempt to transfer a membership will result in immediate cancellation without refund. Members may not allow anyone else to use their membership benefits. Membership benefits are only available to the named member on the account.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate the Founders Club at any time and for any reason, at our sole discretion, without liability to any Founders Club member. If the Founders Club is terminated, we will make our best efforts to provide reasonable notice to all members. In the event of termination, members will not be entitled to any refunds or other compensation.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice. Any changes will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New York State, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

By making your contribution and joining the Founders Club, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
