Introducing our NYC Raw Honey, harvested from our own rooftop and backyard honey bees in Queens and Brooklyn. We are committed to providing the best quality honey for our bees, which means we do everything we can to ensure they have everything they need to thrive.
Our honey is local, unheated, and unpasteurized, allowing all the enzymes, minerals, vitamins, and pollens to remain in the final product. We only strain out the comb and bits that aren’t part of the honey, leaving us with a pure and beautifully sweet living product.
We are proud to be certified by Certified Naturally Grown, an organization promoting organic methods, transparency in food, and local connections between farmers and consumers. When you see the Certified Naturally Grown seal on our honey, you can be confident that it has been produced sustainably and without the use of GMOs or synthetic chemicals. Enjoy the taste of sustainably-produced, locally-sourced honey with our NYC Raw Honey.
Origin: New York City
The best tasting honey I’ve ever had! I only wish I had seen the pick up option as I live super close in Astoria. Shipping took a lot longer than I was expecting, but the honey is worth the wait. If only the jar was larger, it’s the best!
I ordered this honey because I have allergies and was hoping it would help with them. After a few weeks I began to feel some relief! Not only is it healthy, but it tastes fantastic! It’s very different from other honey’s I’ve had in that it has a bitter taste, but it pairs really well with Greek yogurt and fruit. I would defiantly recommend.
I buy the blue berry blossoms, orange blossoms, clover, and buckwheat from Nick. This one tastes the best/sweetest, but not overly bearing sweet. Is it because I'm not used to wildflower honey? I'm not sure, but it really is the best honey I've tasted. It's quite the penny, but logic is that if you live in that state, best to eat from it. So I use this honey specifically for making honey lemon/ginseng/ginger/or jujube preserves. Best to treat it as gold medicine at this price.
The NYC Astor Honey is so fine. The taste, quality and consistency are all above excellent.
And, since I met some of the bees when I participated in the workshop, I feel like partners in the process.
Only problem is that my jar is almost done and I gave the other to my niece. 💜
